Lisa Kodmur, Senior Health Care Consultant
Lisa Kodmur is a health care consultant specializing in improving health care systems for seniors and people with disabilities. She works with Pacific Health Consulting Group on several projects for Medi-Cal health plans, focused on redesigning delivery systems and the integration of long-term services and supports, home- and community-based services, medical care and behavioral health care. She is a firm believer in the triple aim of health care quality improvement; she believes the triple aim must take into account the experiences and needs of older adults and people with a wide range of disabilities and mobility limitations.
Recently Lisa supported the implementation of New York State’s Medicaid Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program for Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center and Mount Sinai Hospital (New York City) and helped develop provider outreach and education strategies for California’s Coordinated Care Initiative (dual-eligible health-plan pilot).
For eight years Lisa was the Director of Services for Seniors and People with Disabilities at L.A. Care Health Plan, helping L.A. Care serve more than 160,000 older adults and people with disabilities on Medi-Cal. She worked on internal operations as well as developing external relationships with advocacy groups, not-for-profits and key providers.
Lisa has also worked with the Saban Free Clinic, and ran the member services department at Community Medical Alliance, a Medicaid HMO in Boston for people with disabilities and people with HIV/AIDS.
Lisa has volunteered for the last 18 years with a social program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Lisa has a Master’s of Public Health from Boston University.
She has been affiliated with Pacific Health Consulting Group as a Senior Consultant since 2015.
